do you think God is including euthanizing a pet due to him not living a happy-dog's life anymore??

I think that God would want you to do what is best for your pet. If it would be cruel to keep Chewy alive, then I believe that God would want you to let him go. You really have to follow your gut instinct on this one. With my last pet, I KNEW it was time for her to go...I brought her into my vet, and she disagreed with me and wouldn't put her down. About a month later, my girl ended up having seizure after seizure after seizure until my hubby raced home from work so that I could bring her to the vet. The vet said it was time, and we put her to sleep. I WISH that I would have followed my gut instinct and had her euthanized the month prior. It was unfair for her to have to suffer that last month, and to go through all of those seizures on that day. I would have rather that her last day on earth be more comfortable and a happy memory.
Good Luck with your decision. Just follow your heart. You will know when it's time.
