Cindy, I'm so happy to hear that you all are doing so well together. I really appreciate the update because, frankly, I've had a little separation anxiety since she's been gone. I know she's in a wonderful home but, well...you know what I mean. She is so dainty and precious that I can't help but worry for her just like I did when she was here. I've resisted the urge to call you so you can have some bonding time with her and it sounds like you all are doing wonderfully.

It shouldn't take long for Baby to get used to all your regular visitors. I don't think she'll become any less a lap baby, though, as a warm lap is just about her favorite thing. As for the vacuum, she really hasn't been around one much since we only have one room carpeted and she was never in there while we vacuumed.

mnewco, I think you are mis-reading Cindy's post. Baby is a very spirited little girl but is very sweet and is not aggressive at all. I think it's a good sign that she has bonded with Cindy that she barks at what to her are strangers. To me, it isn't the sign of a problem dog. She is in a new environment and is still adjusting. She did come from a very good home where she was much loved and is now in a wonderful home where she will continue to be loved. How you can see so many problems from a positive post from her new Mom is beyond me.

Cindy, I'll be calling in a few days to just chat for a while. I'm looking forward to hearing all about how things are going.

Jim
