I was just noticing that you both live in California. I used to live in Cali and I had a little dog with severe allergies we went through the foods and shots all they did was keep him from going totally crazy. I noticed early on in his life the baths would make things much worse. He was so bad his hair had almost all fallen out by the time he was 7 yrs, his skin looked like old shoe leather. Well about a week after we moved to Idaho I gave him a bath and noticed he was not itchy. Then he had a few more baths and one day while bathing him I noticed it felt like he had little stickers in his skin. I went for the flashlight to get a better look and to my amassment after all the bald years and leathery skin his hair had started growing back. Within 6 mo he had a full beautiful hair coat again. Turns out he was allergic to the water, not the food or the shampoos. So maybe you need to take those babies on a vacation to a cleaner place and see what happens. You might need a water purification system or move to Idaho where we have cleaner water Ha Ha. But seriously it could be the water. |
