I had my youngest son as "an advanced age mother." They actually wrote that in my medical record! I was 38. I had been trying to get pregnant though and was thrilled! Being older has its benefits. I was more settled, more patient, had more money and less stress. Thankfully he turned out perfect and will be starting his senior year in just a few days -- hard to believe! Great student, fantastic athlete and good lookin' too -- not bad for an old gal!
