That is interesting. My one girl's coat thins when she has a litter of pups and it is always her hind quarters and hind legs that is affected. The rest if perfectly fine. It grows back in very nicely once she has the pups weaned.
I always thought it was weird that her back end was affected more, guess I know now that it isn't uncommon.
