As you said the better colored girls don't break until older. I much prefer my dogs to not begin to break color or blend through until 10 months of age.

Now the other thing I just thought of, if you're gonna grow her out, you will lose breeding time......keeping a girl in coat while with whelp is such a pain and takes alot of special care.
