Welcome to YT! Your furbaby is absolutely adorable and so lucky to have found a great new mom like you! Yorkies and many small dog breeds are notorious for having dental issues. At least, that is what my vet told me. Nikko had his teeth cleaned recently, but I had it done while he was being neutered so he was completely under. However, my vet usually does it under mild sedation. It seems scary because she is so tiny, but it is so important. Dental problems can cause serious health problems if left untreated.
