My liver baby is on a very special, low protein diet. Her BAT came back better, but not quite normal yet. Hopefully the next time we retest her in September, it will be normal (fingers crossed). If not, we will treat her on a MVD diet from them on. It's my little male that eats everything he is not supposed to...so far, he has been able to get rid of it all and no obstruction, but the vet suggested a better balanced diet. I am willing to try anything....He sleeps with us at night and the other night he had opened a seam on his bed and was nibbling at the stuffing inside...I caught him at 4 am and thought I caught him in time - I was wrong. He threw it up 2 days later! I'm just afraid one of these days we won't be so lucky....He is 15 months old - I hope he will outgrow it, too. |
