Well lately our yorkie (jasmine) has started growling at myself and my kids when we pick her up. It isn't all of the time, but it is usually after Jasmine and Ariel have been playing. I'm wondering if it is because Jasmine is still in a mode of play at the time and doesn't understand that we aren't playing or she is actually starting to get an agressive quality to her and trying to make herself the alpha. I usually scold her and put her back on the floor or go about what we were doing with her. Anyone have anything tips on how to get this to stop before it gets worse?

Just my opinion, but at 11 weeks, she is just getting her puppy voice. I wouldn't worry about it unless she was getting agressive with you and trying to bite. Right now she is still a baby.
