Barley was named by the rescue group we got him from and snce he was so sick and going through so many changes I didn't want to change his name.
my daughter's friend asked me why I named him after a grain, I said well it's not because I love beer or anything but and then explained. She's 17 so she laughted.
However, my GP is named Garrett after a subdivision I grew up in with my GP Buffie. I had wonderful memories there before my parents divorced and tore it all up. So when I got my GP I decided to bring it full circle.
