Are they outside in your yard? If so, there are some organic methods to get rid of them. Go to your local organic nursery (plant store) and they can help you. If you own your own home and can spray the yard, you can use beneficial nematodes - google it and you can read about them. I have been using them for 10 years and I NEVER have an ant mound in my yard.
