I have never taken my girls with me to Hawaii, but I have looked into what it would entail.

The quarantine has been lifted, but the paperwork has to be completed and certified by your vet and then received by the control folks on Oahu within 10 days of your arrival. It is up to you to confirm receipt and that everything is okay. Then, you must fly to Oahu - pet MUST fly in cargo and will be unloaded by the animal staff and taken to their animal control area to be checked out, where it must be picked up by 5:00pm. It not picked up ty 5:00pm you are charged a daily fee and then they will keep them a minimum of 24 hours. Once you've done all this stuff in Oahu, I do not believe there is any issue taking them to another island.

I'm not sure whether they allow them in cabin for the flight home.....
