Sorry about your baby, I hope she's doing better. You know, much of what is written on the web is incorrect and the rating sites only use one reviewer for each food. Raters have no special credentials either, or training in nutrition. In short, there is a lot of incorrect information out there, and it can be very confusing. We often give up what we know because someone seemly has more credentials. Truthfully, I don't think we know that much about nutrition, but, I wouldn't be persuaded by any salesmen working in a store, even a specialty store, websites, and other people who sell food. They are all going to push their particular product. Here's a site that has some wide believed myths, and meal is not necessary a bad term, and because there is no water content it means more of the meat product.

Finding a dog food that works with your dog, can be very challenging, I think taking away all treats, was a good idea, but sometimes it takes a little time for the digestion system to recover, and sometimes these little buggers get a "treat" from somewhere that we don't even know about. I think I would wait a week before switching foods, and I'd even do a vet check first, if the dog had been on that food for a while without any problems.
