It's beautiful, it looks like they used a light taupe shade in the background, and I do love the way that looks, but so much depends on the shade of green you choose. Here's a shade that's a green/grey, but to me it looks like the colors are fighting each other, and neither one is dominant. Red is such a dominant color, and if you are using that much, neutrals, seem to go well. The room pictured in your link would also blend well with other rooms painted a yellow color. Sometimes if you are painting lots of rooms in your house a strong color, it's great to have a room that has a more neutral choice, it makes you appreciate the differences.
