Ask your vet if she is a good weight or not. My Smokey is VERY slender but he's a healthy weight, it's just his body style. Then there is Chip that is short and round... not fat, just filled out. I would consult your vet and he/she can also give you tips on what you can or can't do, if they say she is a bit underweight. When Smokey came to us, he was extremely malnourished and I would free feed him and give him wet puppy food in the morning. He went from 7 lbs to 14 lbs (he's a teapot).
