I am going to see the vet next week and I will ask him further about the vaccinations, maybe ask him to write a letter and ask the local clubs if they will accept the letter with titers? Beg them? Plead? Maybe they will let us do some private lessons or something I don't know. They also do conformation classes so in my dreams I was thinking I would have one dog for each. Now I will just see how it goes with agility and rethink conformation.

Another thing you might want to think of is finding a mentor with something other than yorkies. Maybe look for another terrier or toy breed? I know there are some show poodles, whippets, and great danes in my area and they would help me if I asked. Not as useful, but helpful and definitely better than nothing. I hope showing will continue to become more popular in the West and make it easier to point a dog out here.
It appears with the economy the numbers are down everywhere, but in Texas.

While it is an option, showing/grooming/training and the art of presenting a yorkie is much different than any other breed.
