Pyrantel is mild and can be given to the puppies starting at 2 weeks old.
Panacur -C is more complete as it also gets rid of tape worms. Although it does not get rid of the tape worm transmitted by fleas. It will get rid of Gyardia , but you need to give over the course of 5 to 9 days .
There is a de-wormer that gets rid of the other tape worm, "drontal" if i am not mistaken, but that is strong and you need the vets supervision , i have friends who had bad experiences with that one.
