Piper also plays with her food. When she was a tiny puppy she would fling the kibble up and over her head then chase it down. She would play like that for quite a while before she ate it. Now that she is a big 1 year old she'll take the piece of kibble run across the room and eat it very grown up like. I have never seen her just eat kibble right from the bowl.
