 Giving Benadryl Before Frontline Plus
I'm one of those people that dreads giving any kind of meds or putting chemicals on my baby....However, living in S. E. Texas is a challenge, to say the least, keeping fleas at bay...I don't have any fleas in my house, but I walk Apple in the neighborhood twice a day...Although, I did apply Apple a full dose of frontline plus 6 weeks ago (decided to stretch it out, instead of once a month), I wondered if it would be prudent to give her a dose of benadryl before applying frontline? I tried splitting the dose, twice a month, but it just didn't get it...Has anyone given benadryl, before frontline, or heard, from their vet, about doing this? Apple weighs about 4 1/2 lbs. and is 9 1/2 months old... |
