Glad to hear your baby is out of surgery! When I had Addie spayed, I got pills enough for several days (I can't remember exactly how many, but there were at least five pills). Basically I was told to give them to her if necessary. They cut the pills up into quarter sizes so I would only give her one quarter a day. I gave it to her for the first two days (after her first day of surgery because they had already given her painkillers the day of) in the morning along with her antibiotics (but had to giver her antibiotics at night as well) just because I wanted to make sure she wasn't experiencing any pain. I was told that I didn't have to give all of the painkillers to her. I was told to judge based on how she was feeling. If she looked like she was in pain, then I would give them to her. If not, then I could stop early. After the second day of giving her painkillers, I stopper because she seemed perfectly fine. Although, I did make sure to keep a close eye on her behaviour in case she did show signs of being in pain.
