I personally felt that some of the mom's looked very unkept, scraggly and ratty, especially the breeds other than Yorkies. Reminded me of the dreaded...... PM. Granted they had just given birth, but that is no reason to ignore hygiene and brushing. If I were trying to sell dogs, I would most certainly see that they were groomed when the pictures were taken. Maybe I expect too much.
