I have an adorable little Yorkie that had a collapsed tracea. It was sooo sad. on a scale of 1-4 (4 being the worst) she was a definite 4! Anyway, thank goodness I took her to the university and had a good vet.... they did surgery that was extremely expensive.... but, worth it as it appears that she is going to be o.k.
She more than likey would have died of affixiation soon.... so, all you yorkie owners out there... remember, if they are making a "honking" noise when they get at all excited and it calms down after THEY calm down, then it is more than likely a collapsed or collapsing trachea. I have some adorable pics of my little yorkies but can't seem to figure out how to get them on here... anyone have the guidelines for me... it keeps saying they are too big a file
