What is weird with my girls is this just started.. one is 16 months old the other is 18 months they were best friends till recently!!!! Also for safety purposes I made the decision to put the older larger of the two on tranquilizers till Monday. Hated to do it but it is a real safety issue for the smaller tootsie she is 4 1/2 pds, Samantha is 11 pds. I have done the alpha thing and put them on their backs.... Can get scary fast!!!! Yikes!!!! Good Luck! The med my vet put Sam on is Acepromazine.
Please DO NOT do the alpha roll as you are only adding to the problem. There are many articles on the internet stating that by doing this you are only adding to their fear aggression. The monks who created this came out and said it should not be done. Dogs believe you are going in for the kill when you do this and it frightens them even more.

Spaying will help but I find the girls want to rule the roost no matter what.
