I called the vet and she says they're gonna have to pull them! I'm upset since this is going to be done when he's neutered so he'll be in twice the pain! Also it costs lovely $100 on top of my $500 neuter later this month! ARGH I hope they fall out by themselves soon! Anyone else had this happen? | Apple had "eight" canines @ 5 months...I talked to the vet, and he said not to worry about it 'till she was a year old...She's now 9 1/2 months old and has lost the bottom two canines, but still has the top two...I'm not getting her spayed 'till she's a year old, so if there are any baby teeth, at that time, he'll pull them...I think, maybe, they'll be gone by then...I did have to take Apple to the vet the other day, because one of the baby teeth (canine) was hanging by a thread, and I couldn't get it out...She was fine the next day, eating normally...I don't think the tooth pain lasts long at all...Not sure about the neuter, as I've always had girl dogs...But I hear it is much easier on the boys, than the girls... |
