I too, thought you meant making posts anonymously, which I would not tell anyone not to do it, but it would make me wonder WHY they were doing it. But as you further explained, just going anonymous to prevent people from seeing where you surf, what you read, and when you log in..... well I don't think I would care for those options anyway. I just don't get why anyone would want to have that info on someone else. Maybe I am internet naive.
As to your original post in this thread, I would just ask the person why it would bother her. If she replied as you stated that she felt you were hiding, then I guess you could tell her you were evading the stalker. But I probably would not tell her that. Instead I would ask her why it was important to her to know where you were reading anyway. What on earth could be of benefit in having that info on someone? And what did she intend to do with that information? |
Exactly what I mean! Sorry I did not explain it further because you are right some forums you can post anonymous without people knowing so I see how I messed that up when I posted. I replied saying I didn't know it was a problem with me signing in and remaining private and told her about how I had to deal with someone stalking me which was none of her business but I was really caught off guard with the message. Just something that people have never asked me before. I also would like to know why you would want to know what I am searching or doing so I agree with you. I mean I sign on here and it's not private but I also don't have someone checking up on me lol. I had made amazing friends here.
