Welcome to you and your as yet unnamed puppy! You can't hurry the name process. You will know when it is right. My youngest was quitea while without an official name. We tried out a couple and I kept sayin it was between Cooper and Beamer. But I could not land on one -- finally figured it out -- neither was really right for him. He likes to stand on his hind legs and sort of box with his paws. So, he also named himself as you said -- His name is Rocky! Something similar will happen to you and you will know what his name should be.
