This is not a suggestion but a funny story about our solution when Samantha was a puppy. She kept dumping her food, too. But when I would sweep it into the dust pan she wanted to eat it there. Soooooo, I got a dustpan just for her and that is what she ate out of for over a year. No more food dumping. It was treated just like a bowl, never used for anything else, and washed regularly. When we moved, she went back to a bowl and there's never been a problem since. She has always had a separate bowl for special treats such as chicken or a bit of hamburger or steak, which she has rarely. These get picked up, washed, and put away as soon as she is finished.
They do seem to grow out of it.
