Aww good job Jackson!! I do that with peanut too..when I come home and he is with me I will just let him down and he will run around and sniff bushes and pee on them and then run to the door..We also have this big grass area at my condo's and I will let him run around and throw his ball...I never let my gaurd down..I always keep an eye out for cars, hawks, and other dogs!!
I think the more you work with them the better they get..Any other time Peanut has been off his leash for a second he was gone like a flash!! But he is getting better and better!!
