Hi everyone, Im new to this and excited to be able to talk to others that have the same doggy as I do. I do have a question, How do I keep maximus (max) from taking off outside and running away? We have been to training school which helped on the sit, down, easy stuff, but if he gets out my front door without a leash, he's a gonner. Several times my youngest boy has chased him to the river. He's the only one that can catch him. When he gets out, I have tried luring him back with treats, I tried to get him to chase me, Nothing works so far. It scares me to death that one day he will get out and we will not catch him. Does anyone else have this problem with their yorkies? Is this a natural thing for them?
