To be honest, I think he has a point. What if someone wants to walk barefoot on their lawn? Also, we all know that when we pick up poop off grass, it's not always a surgical operation.
There are not a lot of lawn in my area, but I don't let Thor pee on flowerbeds or store fronts. He gets to pee on garbage cans, street lamps, mail boxes, etc. Poop is done right on the side walk, and picked up.
