I believe that Yorkies finish growing at different times based on their lineage. If you have a good breeder they are probably the best source for your puppy's growth. Sadie really hasn't grown since about 6 or 7 months. My breeder told me that based on her lines she probably wouldn't grow any more but will probably fill in some. Sadie will be a year old next week and that has held true. She weighed 3.8 pounds at 7 months and she now barely makes 4 pounds. I think she will continue to fill in a little bit over the next year. When I got her at 15 weeks the breeder told me she would probably be between 4 and 4 1/2 pounds. A good breeder knows their dogs but also realizes that they are all individuals and there will be some who don't follow the norm for their lines so they don't make promises.
