I cook a family size pkg of boneless chicken breasts, around 8 in a pky,
every other week and freeze them. They thaw over night in the refrig so they
are always at hand for his feeding.

Thank you so much, I definitely will give that a try. Thanks again for the post! Until that one day I could trick these little guys to eat just straight up dry kibbles. I guess that'll be the day where pigs can fly.
