How old did you say she was? Molly went through a phase similar to my son's Terrible Twos. From 3 to 6 months, she was just a wild child. I started to wonder if I was really cut out for this, or if I had made a mistake in buying a dog. But just like with my son, I stayed as consistent as I could. I confined both of them when I needed a break...although Jake was in a crib, not in a crate...

One thing I did with Molly was that I bought a cheapo lined tablecloth. I spread that out in the floor where I could sit and read and kept her attached to me on a leash where she could roam, but still on the tablecloth. When she had accidents, I could catch them quickly, and they were easy to clean up.
