Bella had the mucus poop last friday morning. She was running and playing and eating just fine but I took her in just incase she had parasites or something. She even had a spec of blood in it. Anyway, that's what made me take her in to be seen. They did a fecal and it came back negative. They just gave her a shot of fluid under the skin to make sure she doesn't dehydrate, that is possible when they get soft stools/diahrea. They also gave me some Kaopectate because it seemed she had an upset stomach, by the looks of her BM. Then they also gave me an antibiotic for her just to take precaution. She's just under 3lbs and had hernia repairs and was also 2 wks prior so our vet just wanted to make sure if there was something lingering we'd take care of it.

I was told to give her the Kaopectate 3 times a day and then the antibiotic twice a day. I'm happy to say her BM's are back to normal!

If it hasn't stopped, I would just call the vet and see what they say.
