I don't think you would have to have the tail docked. Someone would come along and love it as it is.
I have a puppy that I didn't dock her tail. My husband wanted to keep her so I figured why put me and her through it? She is glorious! Her colors started breaking and she looked like she was going to be white. Her hair got to a length that I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to see what she looked like under those black tips. I cut the black tips off, she was soooo light that you could have called her white unless you put her next to a white dog. LOL That was a couple of months ago and now she is a very light silver/white with light brown moustache, beard and paws. Her tail is half that light silver/white fading to black toward the tip of her tail.
The pictures are about a month old. Here is Patty. I was tickling her in the 2nd picture. Sylvia
