Well, I'm not really sure cause I have been known to be a little crazy at times myself.
We are already planning to have a birthday party for Lacey with her doggie mom and dad, grandparents(2 legged & 4) family, friends, etc. I even found a recipe to make a doggie safe cake. So I would have to say forget what other's say and go for it. Celebrate your baby's birth the way you wish!
