weird incident. maybe since you say he had food in his mouth and he's 5 months old, he started chewing the food and it hit a loose tooth. it hurt and scared him enough to yelp and pee?
it doesn't sound like a UTI but keep an eye on him. if he has increased drinking and urination then it may be.
