I just adopted a Yorkie-s**tzu mix from a lady in my town. The pic she showed me of him is so different from the poor little baby! He is going bald on the top of his head...he has scratch marks and such. I did see fleas on him and immediately gave him a bath and put proper flea medicine on him removing the flea collar! He is so thin, I can feel his ribs and his spine!!!!!!!!! He will only eat out of my hand! They gave me medicine for "hot spots"...does this sound like hot spots to anyone?! Would that cause weight loss and hair loss?! I will be able to take him to the vet Friday, but just wondered if anyone here would know what it would be! Is there a certain food I can buy to help him gain weight? Thanks so much!!!
