 Tucker's Ears
Well, I said I didn't care what Tucker's ears would look like after his AAI surgery. The cast covered his head, with little holes on the sides for his ears. His ears were mashed down for 15 weeks. (He wore a brace before having his surgery.) However, now that he's healthy, I would love for his ears to stand straight up again. They both looked awful for a couple of days after the brace was removed They were sort of droopy, and stuck straight out to the sides. After a few days, his right ear stood straight again. His left ear corrected itself except for a little flop right at the top of the ear. So, he has one straight ear, and one floppy one. Mind you in view of the problems he has had , this is a minor thing I'm just so grateful that he's healthy. But it would be kind of nice if both ears were the same. He's nine months old. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just forget about it? He's adorable either way. Tucker's Mom |
