To those who asked... I tried all routes discussed. The only offer we got was for someone to keep it outside. If it wasn't 110degrees in the shade down there... that might not be horrible... but she would die going from a/c to hot Poplarville MS humid.... extreme heat.
Keep praying that it works out... the two options I have right now are both very costly.

Here a thought that I had...
Contact your Vet's office and explain your situation to see if any of their staff would be willing to board your MIL's Golden. If not, maybe they could cut you a BIG break to board at their facility.
Or, this could be a great story for a local news channel to hear about to help get your story/need out there with a much quicker response, too.
I hope someone will lead you to a perfect solution for your MIL's Golden so, your DH's wishes can be fulfilled ASAP!
