If she was itching quite badly at only 8 weeks old, I don't think it would be allergies bc her Mama's antibodies should still be protecting her. Usualllllly, allergies aren't seen (esp enviro) until they're a year and up.
What does the skin look like?
Where is she itching?
Esp. since she is a puppy, I'd really rule out mites, amongst other things...
