The only thing I can think of is for you to take her temperature a few times a day and when you notice that it has dropped, schedule the c-section, because she would be about to go into labor anyway. So chances are, it would not be too early for the pup(pies.)
But wait until the x-ray to decide. Who knows, you might have multiple pups in there and a c-sec won't even be necessary. The vet can also measure the skulls and see if he thinks they'll pass through alright. Goodluck!!
