 My little alarm clock
Tucker is my alarm clock also. He starts around 5:30 AM. I'm retired, and could sleep much later. He starts by laying his head on my face. He then starts licking my eyes. If I pull the covers over my face, he frantically scratches at the sheet.He goes to my husband first, and wakes him. I like to stay up late, and 5:30 is way too early for me to begin my day. I wonder if this pattern will ever change. It's not because he has to go potty. He's just ready for the day to begin. If I put him down to go on his pee pad, he just stays at the bed, and barks. It's like "Mommy, you're a lazy bum. I'm ready to start my day. So get up already." Tucker's sleepy Mom |
