He gets about 2 Tablespoons in the morning of kibble, and 2 at night with about 5-7 green beans. Before bedtime, he gets 5 more pieces of kibble. He always has a bully stick, and occasionally gets other small treats. He weighs about 5 ½ pounds, which the vet says is a good weight for him, he's not what I'd call thin, but looks perfect to me. Like I said before, if he loses a few ounces, I tend to give him a little more kibble the next week, but I've never had to give him below this amount. I think he probably has a naturally slow metabolism, and there is huge variation in individual metabolism, but he seems satisfied with the amount of food he's getting. When I babysit for another dog, Joey's up most the day, and is much more active, so I increase the food a little on account of this.
