Don't panic regarding surgery. She could have jumped off the bed during the
night and you didn't hear her. There's a chance she could have a soft tissue
injury to her leg and yes she has to see the vet to be checked.
If this is the case she will need pain meds. I went threw this last month
with Buddy. It's very important to have it checked out.
