Sorry you had this experience and that you are still going through it.
Did you get a contract of any kind? What evidence do you have on the receipt other than the amount paid?
Did you get any insurance at all started on your pup? Even a free cover?
Things you can start to do:-
Contact your local citizen's advice bureau, they have advisors on legal matters - not sure if they cover this. But they are free...it won't cost anything to ask.
Speak to your vet, they may have experience of dealing with this sort of thing.
Apart from that I have no idea, I didn't even think you could still buy from pet stores anymore in the UK....
