I have a girl who had bumps weren't in clusters either, but she was so uncomfortable (I thought it was food allergies), doc diagnosed staph infection. Put her on antibiotics for 10 days and cold baths every 3 days.....it's completely cleared and coat is coming back in where she had scratched herself raw.
