Mine never gained at all...just lost weight. Your baby sounds like she's a good weight. My other two puppies were 2 oz and 3 oz and they are now 6 1/2 and 7 oz on day 9. I had the tails done today because they were so fragile at first.
I did supplement them a little bit the first few days - just a few drops in the side of their mouths while they were nursing. That seemed to get them over the hump.
