Jagger is now 5 months old. He loves to go into our back yard, which is on a golf course. Our house (as are all the houses on the course) is surrounded by wrought iron fence. I never let him go outside by himself, even in the backyard and always walk him on a leash.

Being a curious, impulsive little fella like most Yorkies his age, he bolts through the fence everytime he sees a rabbit, another dog in one of our neighbors yard, golfers on the course, or just because he CAN.

It is giving me a heart attack! He does not respond to NO, and sometimes not to his name. The other night he ran into one of our neighbors yard about 5 houses down and they have a pit-bull mix and another mixed bred dog. They claim he is "safe", but this neighbor is a pot-smoking, n'er do well guy and I've seen another neighbor call the police on him because this "nice" dog attacked her dog. My husband has already told him if his dog comes near our house, children or pets, his a$# is his!

Luckily it was at 9:30 p.m. and none of the dogs were outside. I am terrified that Jagger will seriously get hurt or killed if I don't get him trained fast.

I thought about putting some chicken wire at the bottom of the fence to keep him inside of our yard.

Any and all help and input from you all would be appreciated.
