We paid $645 for Chloe and my mom's jaw about hit the floor. My toy poodle, nine years ago, had only cost $150. I'm not sure if I'd be able to own more than one Yorkie at that price...but I gave up all birthday/Christmas presents from my husband for the next couple of years in exchange for her!
